Magical Places - Make Believe Or Reality?

Reality, Myths and Legends
Reality is based on factual evidence. It is something that our five senses can utilize. Each person's conception of what is real to them and what is real to someone else isn't always the same. Certain reactions to the psyche with chemicals gives some peole differing views of what their reality is.
Myths are not based on facts but more on fantasy and made up stories. Some ar just Figments Of Your Imagination.
Legends are a bit of reality embellished with some myth in an attempt to keep the facts going such as facts that happened based on someones perception of reality or a group of people's views. Much like the game where the first person in a line tells a fact to the next and so on and so forth. By the time they get to like the 10th person that fact has been distorted in one way or another. This doesn't make the fact false, but the story adds on a new character to the fact.
Figment Of Your Imagination
Since time began humans have experienced other worlds and other realms and portals into other places. Some may be made up and some may not be. Either way the thought had entered their minds from somewhere. A possibility of just the imagination. The belief is in the experience of those who have been there and have written them down for all to see. I suggest you to use a figment of your imagination and find your dreams, to open your minds to what is and could be. Remember just because you have not seen or experienced these places and events does not necessarily mean they aren't true.
Have you ever said to yourself or someone that they are crazy and then months down the road you experienced the same thing? I know I have and know others that this has happened too. In this world everything is possible.
There are many such places and realms of possibilities. As they get finished the links will be posted and you will be able to go to and read them.

Interesting breakdown of, reality, myth and legend. Some of the place you mention I am aware of. Others, I'm not.
M'Lady, Guinevere will not be including Camelot?!
I'm almost finished with an incredible book titled "Uther," by Jack Whyte. Uther is King Arthur's father, and the book is a DEFINITE must-read. I'm babbling on and on about it because the origins of Camelot are extensively covered and expertly blended with actual history pertaining to Cornwall, the Celts and the lasting influence left by Rome's occupation.
Sounds like you've got a plan that will definitely hold this old lady's interest! Thanks and I'll be reading, reading, reading! Best, Sis
Wow...interesting! :) I believe they do exist...I have friends who can 'see' them! LOL NOw off to read about these whereabouts...great idea Lady G!
Lyonesse is another one to tempt your fancy.
Interesting - I've bookmarked so I can watch for new additions
I always believe something is out there other than our own realm, sometimes I also feel that I've been watched by someone-it's really a strange feeling. And thank you for the links. I will be following your hubs :)
Very interesting, LG. And thanks for the link to Atlantis.
I think some things have been mis-labelled as "myth." At one time "Troy" was considered a complete fiction, but now we know where the city existed. Other "myths" which have fallen into the "fact" camp are Mycenaean Greece, Minoan Crete, and Amazon warriors. And now, we have proof of an Atlantis-like event right when Plato said Atlantis was swallowed by the sea.
Love this stuff!

Very interesting LG. Someone recently discovered a spot in the mountains of Tibet that seems to be the original Shangri-La
