My Favorite Bee Gee Songs
63The Bee Gee's Younger Days
The Last Days Of Andy Gibb
The Bee Bee's
They were a great band in the 70's and beyond. They had many hits that I remember. Some of the ones that I liked are in the video's below. Later on Andy, the youngest of the Gibb's, died. The report of his death is the last video. He died at the very young age of 30. He will never be forgotten..
The Bee Gee's own Tribute to their brother, Andy, is at the right.

Well it's about time that somebody does a Bee Gees hub! Thanks for this hub, LG! Put on your hotpants and we'll rollerskate to Saturday Night Fever! Hell yeah! :D
OMG....I looooooooove the Bee Gees! My very first 45 rpm record I bought as a teenager was "Jive Talkin'". I still have it! It will always be near and dear to my heart. One of the stores I went in today actually had a Bee Gees song on, "You Should be Dancing". I hung around just to finish the song.
Oh okay then, just as long as you promise that you'd hang a mirror ball and put on a boa feather! LOL
I love the BEE GEES...and Andy Gibb. I saw Andy Gibb in concert when I was a little girl at the Orange County State Fair right before he died...he was touring with Donnie and Marie Osmond! LOL....
My favorite songs " I just wanna be your everything"......
LOL....glad to know I'm not the only one! I was about to leave the store today when the song came on. I literally had to pretend to look at things and hoped no one heard me trying to see along. Man, they can hit some high notes, can't they? LOL
Don't get me started on Donny Osmond, jjrubio! His pictures were plastered on my bedroom walls as a teenager.
That's an idea....post a poll so we can vote on our favorite BeeGees song.
The Bee Gees were my alll time favorite group. Maurice died too years back. On the operating table of what I heard.
Have you seen or heard this song with the BeeGees & Celine Dion? I first learned of it on a "Best of the BeeGees" cd I have.
Well...now it's here, without being here, if you know what I mean. LOL
The Bee Gees were best in the 60s
A little bit of trivia....did you know that the house the BEE GEES Brother Barry Gibb bought and burned down was actually the house the Johnny and June Cash had for many years and was even in the Movie "Walk the Line">>>
I love trivia! And I love Johnny Cash too.
Man we have lost too many good singers....by the way today is the 46th Anniversary of the sad ending of the GREAT PATSY CLINE.......=(
I loved the Bee Gees.
My two favorite songs were "Love Me" and "How Do You Mend A Broken Heart"
Keep on Hubbing!
Patsy is related to my grandma ( from what she told me) and my grandma is an honest lady....she said she was one of her cousins...thats what I was told....I am proud to say I am related to her....
I LOVE THIS HUB !! and Andy was all OVER my wall !! I still remember the poster where he was in a red shirt ! I am new here but you have already inspired me to get my sound fixed on my lap top !! This is not the hub to be at if your sound will not come in !! so just like arnold.....Ill Be Back :)
Thanks so much for the videos! The first album I ever bought was Barry Gibb and Barbara Streisand, "Guilty". Primo stuff with the unmistakeable Bee Gee backgrounds. Probably her most passionate work and proof of what a dynamite producer Barry Gibb was/is.
Someone told me that they read on a website that Michael Jackson owned rights to most of the Bees Gees songs, I told her she was crazy and did not believe her, I researched but could not find anything on this and she can not remember the website, do you know anything about this?
best song from bee gees is clearly
"more than a woman"
This was great, I love Stayin Alive.
It's sad to know that it was their baby brother Andy who died. Makes me cry every time I think about him. He was so cute.
I forgot to mention that another reason why this story makes me sad is because that Andy was ONLY 30 years old when he died.
...boy oh boy I'm gonna have a lot fun with your hubs - they are amazing and so full of enlightenment and entertainment - so I will be back later on tonight - but for now I must say I love the Bee Gees - especially their earlier stuff from the 60's - so this hub sits very well with me - and you have done a wonderful and insightful job here - I can tell it's been a labor of love for you - and much fun for me!
Now this is music I can sure relate to! I love the Bee Gees and have since 1971 when I fell in love for the first time, durning the summer, in between childhood and being an adult. We never forget our first love or the songs that were the soundtrack for that love.
Voted up!
