The Long And Winding Road, Searching For Truth

Have you had a revelation that went against all that you were taugh in church or Sunday School? Are you confused at what that might mean? Did you read the Bible for yourself without the interjection of the church and seen something different then what you have been taught? Have you come across some disturbing things in that book and are now wondering what the heck?

You are not alone! Many have been there. Yes, right where you are. I have researched and read that Bible back and forth to find the answers of what had happened to me.

Don't be surprised if you feel like you are an outcast. Don't be surprised if they call you names and try to reconvert your thoughts. There are some things in that Bible that do make sense, for those who are able to hear and see them. Don't go throwing the book away because you will need it in the future to understand the society that those people lived in.

Now that you woke up to the fantasy that religions want you to believe, you will come under fire. You now will be a threat to them instead of with them. I have a few people on Hubpages that are now telling others not to take anything that I saw with a grain of salt or even as far as a BLOCK of salt. They are telling everyone not to read my hubs and not just the ones that I have written on religious topics. Oh they be scared of the truth and they will try to scare you and put fear into your heart. They are just mirroring themselves for they are the ones who a re very afraid. You can be sure of that. Here are some things that may help you on the Long and Winding Road you are now on.

The first thing that is good when starting your journey is to read that Bible even if yu are not a Christian. After you have finished with that then go and search and read church doctirnes or laws. I know the Catholic Church has their cannon and laws on-line. I wrote a article stating what some churches are to teach their parishioners. Then find out what Jesus was all about and how he lived and his values tht he had hoped they would have imparted on his followers instead of the religios and control they have today. He even expected this to happen:

After reading the Bible you will need to know what caused and still does some of the destruct ions they wrote about. Most of the climate and Natural destruct ions were due to Natural Cyclic Climate changed that occur on this earth. They did not have the scientific knowledge then as we do today. They only explained natural occurrences in the language and knowledge they had then and blamed them on invisible beings, such as Satan or God or Gods and Angels and the like. Get a good understanding of weather and natural occurrences of Earthquakes, soil erosion, volcanic activity back then. It truly was/is, what they reaped is what they sown. Farmers know that if you continually plant the same crop in the same place year after year that the soil will be depleted of nutrients and eventually wash away. They learned this in the Dust Bowl Years. It is nothing new, but religions will put a shroud of mystery around such things. Some of the words used in the Bible and today's definition of them:

Brimstone -- Sulfur--like what comes out of a volcano.This would be the Fire and Brimstone that is speckled all throughout the Bible.

Hell --really was an actual physical place where Rome burned all the bodies that they crucified on crosses. They crucified lots of people on crosses, not just Jesus. They crucified anyone who remotely came up against the control and power of the Roman Empire. To cleanse the area they had to put all the crucified bodies in a trench and burn them. This is what Hell is and the other names they used are Gehenna, and Seoul. Doesn't this sound close to what they do to you when you come away from their power and lust for control? That is the fire you will experience. I believe there is something mentioned in the Bible about going through a fire to be Christ-like. They will twist your words around in an attempt to keep control of you.

A synopsis of what is in the Documentary:

~~Many books have been picked through and left out of the Bible. The Jewish Rabi's and priests and other Clergy chose which one would be in them and which would not be included. In those times you must realize that the clergy was not to speak to the people as they do today. They put their backs towards the people. There are many other changes that occurred throughout time. Once Rome got hold of those books, they also decided what would be in that book and what and how that those words they didn't understand were written therein. In other words they stole Jewish Scripture to make it their own to control the populous.

In the first books there were may Angels written about, but during the 15th Century some of them were deleted from the books that we now have today. It is also during this time some of the translations were changed and more books were left out of certain translations of the Bible then there were in others. When those who seem to think that you are a follower of Satan and try to get you back or those who seem to think of you as a threat, they will tell you that the book is complete. If it were then all books would be included and nothing taken away and they would even know their own history of how the Bible came to be. They will tell you that they are Gnostic and myths and were not included because there was something wrong with the books and they didn't come to par with what is real--------to them.

Satan -- When first mentioned he was as a prosecuting attorney for God and God allowed it. Satan was to tempt us to do evil things so that we would turn back to God and show him our allegiance. ~~~

Today the Christian churches have Satan as an evil being wanting to get your soul and take it with him to Hell. They use him to threaten you to get you back with their beliefs. He did not fall because he wanted to be better than God as they will tell you. He fell because God wanted him (the First Angel he made) to worship Adam. He couldn't understand why, when he was the First made by God and debated with God and the outcome was that God threw him out of Heaven. Also read another hubber's debate on their View Of The Devil

Lilith was also put out as a myth. She was made when Adam was made in God's likeness. She was made as an equal. Adam didn't like that and asked God for a mate. Eve was taken from one of Adam's ribs and that is how she was brought forth. Lilith got mad and cursed all the children of Adam and Eve and so when a child died she was blamed for it. By now you are wondering if there is a God or what is God. God is who you feel or seems to be for you. There is much history of how God came to be and how the One God Theory originated.

In the Land of Canaan they had many Gods and the Three Patriarchs of the Jewish Faith go to Canaan and do as the Canaanites do. Remember this is the Jewish Religion that starts this, not the Greco-Roman Christian, that come later. During this time they end up going into Egypt. It appears that they kind of begin to over-populate Egypt and they begin to feel uneasy as they have thoughts of them taking over their society so they enslave them. This is how the Exodus came about. This happens many other times and all are historically recorded.

Also mentioned on the DVD's is the thing about the many Gods/esses being transformed into the ONE GOD. All they did was make the other God's into the Saints that we have today. In the times before there was one God there were many and each God/ess was in charge. The logic would be to have Saint's and in them they also do a specific functions for humans on Earth. In the beginning it was the Angels that filled the roles of the other Gods/esses.

Being as some books were left out of the Bible makes you wonder why sme of those books were mentioned in the books that were left in at all. I mean if they didn't want us to know about them at all then why even leave a scent of them in the Bible. This just adds to the notion that the Bible is Not complete and some things have been added and some have been taken away, contrary to what they stand on as 'gospel" truth that it has not. One of the things that I notice and they cannot tell me why it is so is that the Catholic Bible does have a few more books in it then the King James Version. That right there tells me that the Bible is not whole nor complete. The Bible itself tells you that it is not complete.

There is magic spells to summon the Angels in the historical accounts in the Book of Solomon that was not included. In another book on Daniel many Angels were named before they edited them out in the 1500's.
