All things bright and beautiful, All creatures great and small, All things wise and wonderful, The Lord God made them all. The rich man in his castle, The poor man at his gate, God made them, high or lowly, And ordered their estate. Mornings At My House
When I first open my eyes in the morning I see my room. My bedroom is like a cave to us because of our different sleeping schedules. My curtains are brown and my room is painted a pastel lilac. I have flannel sheets on the bed right now and they are warm and cozy as I lay there. Usually my cats are on the bed with me as my husband has already gotten off to work some hours before. My dog is always under the bed but someimes he is on the floor below my bed so I must watch where I step. Now my furbabie that sleeps right next to my chest or back is Shadow. I run my hand down her back and say Good Morning Shadow and she will always say Good Morning back to me in her language.
The next furbabie is Sunshine and I also run my hand down her back and tell her Good Morning. She likes kisses too and she will always get up and turn around and bump her nose against my nose. She's a sweetie.
Next is Charlie. I can't run my hand down his back because he is kind of skiddish about that and he dictates when he wants love and when he doesn't. I still tell him Good Morning and sometimes he will tell me Good Morning too.
Without getting out of bed yet, mainly because Shadow isn't ready to move and let me move out yet, I tell Duke, my dog Good Morning too. He just lays there though until I put my feet on the floor.
Now I am able to get up and then I say in a raised voice Good Morning Pinkie who sleeps on the back of the recliner in the living room! She just lifts her head up.
I go around the bed and open the curtain and just look around the woods. I see sqiurrels at play and hear birds chirping and singing. They have been up for hours.
Little Bits is sleeping in her crate and I go to open it and let her out and tell her Good Morning too. She stretches as she crawls off the shelf in her crate. She tell me Good Morning too.
Now I go outside the back french doors and all the outdoor furbabies are waitng and eager for their breakfast and Good Morning pets and loves and food.
Each one comes up to me as soon as the door is opened except for Buster, he lays at the door so i have to walk over him at the same time try to keep them from coming into the house. I pour some dry fod into the dishes out there and they all start eating. As I go around Io make sure that I touch each one to give them a feeling of love and caring and to start their day off right and with love. While I am doing this I also take a look out my backyard and scan the area. Sometimes one or two of the cats will be running across the yard to come and get breakfast. One morning I saw some deer in the woods behind our house. I will hear birds singing and squirrels screaming and all kinds of nature about.
Now that everyone is fedd and loved and stroked it is time for me to get some Coffee.. While my water is heating on the stove I go let Duke out and some of the cats that have been inside al night out. It's like the Flinstone's cartoon when they put the cat out at night--only I put the cats out in the morning.
After getting my coffeee made sometimes I will go outside and sit on my back deck with all my cats around me. Sometimes I will have to play referee out there, but most times They want picked up and held and loved. Some of them talk to me and I talk to them right back. They all just want touched and loved.
What A Wonderful World

Love abounds here and everywhere where you allow yourself to see it. Just as Loius Armsrong sang, "What A Wonderful World", we certainly do live in a wonderful world. Each and every day Nautre takes care of what she needs to take care of. We have this beauty all around us and in us. What I see is what there is out there. Evenin your live in an apartment you still are within the boundaries of Morhter Nature. We can put all the cement around the cities and there will still be nature around and on it. We have ants that take care of the debris and lots of other tiniest of creatures.
I don't usually sit with the news or anything of that nature on. I will put on music for the day. They like to sensationalize negative news and I just am not having any of that. I would rather sit and listen and be in the positive.
What I want to see and feel is nature because I am part of her and it is all around me and I am nature and she is within me. The animals and the aromas, and feelings and sights are all here for our enjoyment.
Like the poem I chose for my article it says everyhting that you need to know to enjoy this great planet that we live on. If you sit a bit and not think of anything but just allow yourself to fill up all it's senses you will get a much different picture then what the inside world of Television and Radio and Religion and Human Strife will give you. Observe the natural rythym of things. Allow yourself to see with your senses and not just your eyes. Hear the bird's songs, feel the air and feel the ground that you walk on.
Take a moment to just watch the ground. See all the tiniy creatures that are busy at working and living there. pick up some of that soil in your hand and feel the life force within it. The Creator gave us all this and much more.
Take time each day to sit and watch and observe what is all around you. Don't rush and don't think, just feel. Soon you will find that nature will come to you and you will find yourself back where you belong. You will want to do it more and more. You will want to experience the different seasons and watch as nature puts out her display of things she has. You are part of the nature and you cannot be separated from it.
It is The Creator.....................................God..................................The Universe.........................................All That Is................................Your home.........................................Your very life...All For You and All Of You..........

What Do I See
I see Mother Earth in her glory.in harmony with Father God.
I see Kingdoms within Kingdoms that are thriving without an end
I see how Mother Nature takes care of her children. She does housekeeping in the Fall when she makes the wind blow and sweeps away the plants that have done their duty. She makes it rain and combs the leaves off the trees that are going to sleep until their morning arrives in the spring. In the winter she puts a blanket on them to keep them warm and gives then water to drink. In the spring she wakes them all up again with some wind and rain and warmth of the sun. Her busiest time is in the Summer where she prompts all her children to put on a show and to feed all her other kingdoms. She knows what she is doing.
I see and feel her rythyms and they are wonderful to feel and behold. The beauty of it all and to embrace it is wonderful.
I am glad that I am part of it all.

Beautiful and produces a vision of paradise as I would like it to be.
Reminds me of home. :( back home in Washington. We would feed the squirel on the porch, and watch the deer gallop through the woods. We listened for the Eagle call and watch the sea otters play.
Fall in love with the majestic orca whales, and cozy up when it is cold. Sometimes we would see some bears on the side of the mountians, or the wild flowers in early spring. Take hikes next to waterfalls, so many wonderful things.
This was refreshing this morning, just getting up to get to work, but decided to stop by and see who wrote what. I miss those days back home, today I sit in an apartment in s. cal.
The other day I saw a hawk, it was doing a mating dance or something just above me. It was nice, I watched it for a couple of days, go back and forth in a pattern, and you could see its ora.

I'm very much in agreement with the concept and feelings of this hub. Yes, it is a good idea to remind ourselves that we live in a wonderful world.
Many people look at what is wrong with our world and newspapers and the TV only reports bad news. And it is not surprising that by thinking about all the negative, we get depressed. We do need to think about what is right about our world and keep on having positive thoughts about everything.
Years ago i was caught in a difficult situation and started to use a affirmation that goes like this.
"I am loved by the Great Mother",
"I live in a compassionate and caring world"
I live in a world of joy and happiness".
These affirmation made a big difference to my life and i still use them when i find my thoughts are getting negative.

Oh, about the hawk too, the two days I watched it, the same pattern kept happening, besides the dance...then some crows would come around and strike at it, but the Hawk just kept on doing what it was doing. Does that mean anything too? xoxoxoxo
gosh sorry, I keep coming back. I forgot to tell you too, that the Hawk looked sort of red. I mean it was brownish colored but it's belly looked red in the sun.

I think we are very much in agreement. Yes, i believe in the law of attraction as well.
I don't know why people want to focus on the bad things or ideas like the world coming to an end. I suppose it is because we are not taught the power of our mind, and how the thoughts we think, effect our reality.

Beautiful hub, Lady Guinevere! I wake up with my furbaby Tiggy who sleeps alongside me and I enjoy listening to the birds too! My balcony is where I grow some plants and watch what wildlife turn up - butterflies, moths, beetles, hoverflies, spiders and a gecko are some of the creatures I have seen!
I wish everyone would see the world like you do!
